Fast Cash for Junk Cars and Used Autos in Texas
Edited by: Nicholas Brit
Car owners throughout Texas, be it Austin, Houston or El Paso have all gone through the same thing before. They get in a car accident, wear down an old truck or car, or move into a house with an old junk vehicle on blocks in the back yard. Whatever the circumstances, it’s not easy to get rid of a junk vehicle these days. That’s why Old Junk Car has worked tirelessly to create a network of salvage yards and auto dismantlers throughout the State of Texas to make it as easy as possible to get rid of your junk car.
If you live in the state of Texas and have a junk car sitting in your yard, there are a few things to consider. First, do you know any salvage yards nearby that happen to remove cars and pay you for it? It might sound silly, but remember that even the oldest, junkiest cars are still valuable when properly salvaged. There is no such thing as a junk yard car with no value.
Second, do those salvage yards charge a fee to come pick up your car? In many cases they do, meaning you need to pay up front and then hope your car is worth enough to cover the cost later. To us, that makes no sense. Why pay up front if the salvage yard is supposed to find value in your car? So, we’ve reworked the system a bit.
If you live in Texas and have a junk vehicle on your property, we’ve built a network of salvage yards and auto dismantlers from Austin to San Antonio that specialize in removal of auto junk and Texas salvage cars, no matter the size or condition. Better yet, we take care of all the details on the phone, including paperwork and ownership transfer and then make sure you get paid for your car. There are no upfront fees, no week long waits for appraisals and no waits on title transfers.
When you think about how easy junk car removal can be it’s a little silly that it used to be so complicated. People really paid $200 or more to have someone they didn’t know from Adam come and remove their junk car? Luckily, you’ll never need to do the same because Old Junk Car removal service has developed a system that works fast and efficiently, all the while making sure you get paid for your junk yard car or truck.
Here are some things you may need to know:
Texas Junk Car Title Regulations
Texas has a variety of rules for transferring the title of a car to another owner – here is a brief rundown of those rules:
• Certificate of Title – Complete the back of the title with your name, odometer reading, date and price. You must also provide the most recent registration receipt and an Application for Texas Certificate of Title (130-U)
• Bill of Sale – Not required but recommended for your records. A Transfer Notification can also be filed but is not required.
• Plates – Remove and keep your plates for transfer to a new vehicle (or surrender if you don’t plan on transferring them).
